Our 3rd Annual Manufacturing Day is in the books!
Nearly 150 freshmen and sophomores from Grove City, Central Crossing, Franklin Heights and Westland high schools, Southwestern Career Academy, and Grove City Christian participated in this year’s event.

Students spent the morning touring Forge Biologics, Welspun, Horton Emergency Vehicles, Tosoh, Cardinal Health, and Electro-General Plastics, getting a firsthand look at modern manufacturing and the wide range of careers available right here in our region.

We wrapped up the day with lunch at the Aladdin Shrine Center, where students heard from SWCSD Superintendent Randy Banks and Grove City Mayor Ike Stage. The team from Advanced Industrial Manufacturing was also on hand to talk with students and answer questions.

A big thank you to MoB Apparel for the Manufacturing Day T-shirts, Flyers Pizza South for nearly 50 pizzas, our participating manufacturers and schools, and everyone who helped make the day possible.

A lot of work goes into a day like this, but seeing students experience these workplaces firsthand makes it worth it. We’re already looking forward to next year.
