"lethal force"). But it's ultimately the legal system that determines what is and isn't justified.

In this seminar you'll learn:
• The difference between "force" and "deadly force"
• The case for using deadly force to protect yourself or someone else
• Whether displaying a weapon constitutes the use of deadly force
• Why ignorance of the law is never a good defense
• The various ways the legal system can handle use-of-force cases

Update: Incident at Grove City College has been cleared.

Today marks another year since the tragic events of September 11, 2001—a day that changed our nation forever.
We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost, including 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 EMTs and paramedics who made the ultimate sacrifice while trying to save others.

In total, over 25,000 first responders and recovery workers were on the scene in the hours, days, and weeks that followed—many of whom continue to battle long-term health effects from their service.

We honor their bravery, selflessness, and sacrifice. Let this day remind us of the strength that comes from unity, and the importance of never forgetting those we lost and those who gave everything to help others.

Attention Mercer Borough Residents and Surrounding municipalities

Mercer Borough will be resuming the monthly emergency siren test this Thursday, August 21st, at 11:00 AM.

Going forward, the test will take place on the third Thursday of every month at the same time.
