This week, as the PTA celebrates Staff Appreciation Week across the district we could not forget about the District Service Center! Not only did we show appreciation with a snack display, but thanks to our youngest learners we were also able to make our 'thank you' a bit more creative!
The vibrant display below was created by our Harmon Elementary School Preschoolers, who quite literally put learning into motion! As part of their exploration of movement, students shook marbles fast and slow to see what would happen....resulting in the shamrock designs you see here. They also worked together to create a stunning 360° rainbow that brought the whole display to life.
It’s a colorful reminder that learning is happening at every level—and that there are many hands, both big and small, supporting our schools behind the scenes at the DSC. Thank you staff and everyone at the DSC who helps keep our district moving forward! We would also like to thank our many volunteers across the district for helping to recognize schools and departments.
