You know the one. The Rotarian who makes every meeting more fun, every service project better, and every Rotary adventure a little more memorable.

Maybe you met because of Rotary, or maybe Rotary simply made your friendship stronger. Either way, some of the best things we gain through Rotary aren’t just the projects we complete or the places we go. It’s the people we meet along the way.

Great Public Image isn’t about posting more. It’s about telling better stories.

Before you hit “post” on your club’s next photo, stop and ask yourself:

Does this show people? Does it show action? Can someone actually see the impact? And most importantly, would someone who knows nothing about Rotary understand why this matters?

A photo of Rotarians standing behind a check documents what happened. A photo of Rotarians working alongside the people they serve tells a story.

A photo of a meeting shows that Rotary gathered. A photo of members laughing, planning, building, packing, mentoring or serving shows what it feels like to belong.

That difference matters.

Your club’s Public Image is often someone’s first introduction to Rotary. Give them something that makes them stop scrolling and think, “I want to be part of that.”

This week, challenge your club to capture one photo that shows Rotary in action, not just Rotary posing for the camera.

Today’s site visit was all about walking through the experience our attendees will have the moment they arrive. It’s been a journey… but we’re back.

After losing our previous page, we’re excited to officially launch the new home of Rotary District 7280 right here on Facebook.

Sometimes, you don’t realize how much something matters until it’s gone. That page held stories. Impact. Moments of service. Connections that stretched across our district and beyond. And while we can’t get that back, what we can do is rebuild it even stronger than before.

This page will be a place where we share the real story of Rotary in our district. The projects that are changing lives.

The people behind the impact, and the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
