Mountain Lakes Club

Mountain Lakes Club A neighborhood and community volunteer organization, established in 1936 by summer residents in the Lost Lake area of Groton, Massachusetts.

Participation in events is not limited to club members; however, we encourage everyone to join as a way to support our efforts. For safety reasons, the beach is available only to club members. The field is available for private gatherings upon approval from the board. We hope to see you at our meetings and events, and would welcome your comments and ideas.

Hi everyone! We’d like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Groton Lakes Association for organizing their wicked fun annual Poker Run again this year.

Also another giant thank you to Michele, Angela and Melissa for hosting this years MLC dock in the event. They did an amazing job and it was so fun!

MLC members, our next event is the MLC Annual Meeting on Sunday 9/20. Please consider coming and being part of the important votes and decision making that happens that day. All input is welcome!

Who would like to volunteer to help at the GLA Poker Run stop at Baby Beach on the raft??

We’ve got a really fun theme idea. The job would involve handing out poker cards and themed snacks/drinks to the participating board that stop by.

It was brought to our attention on Messy Games Day that there are still some vegetables growing in the field gardens! If anyone is interested, feel free to head up to the field and pick whatever you can find! You’re very welcome to w**d as well if that’s up your alley. 🌶️🥕🥬🥦🥒😊

Giving an enormous THANK YOU to all volunteers and participants who were part of Messy Games Day 2026 in the MLC field❤️, another smashing success!

Thank you to Groton Fire Department for providing the mud pit and the very special rain shower to wrap up the event!

Thank you to coordinator Pk Simmons-Mavilia for her amazing activity ideas! As well as huge thank you to Cherie Trout and the others who assisted PK!

We are so lucky to be part of this neighborhood and community.

Happy Fourth of July everybody!

We welcome our members to take a trip down to the beach to view the Groton Lakes Association annual Fourth of July boat parade today!

Decorated boats leave Sargisson Beach around noon time and make their way across the lake over towards Baby Beach.

Enjoy your holiday and everybody be safe!
