Big thank you to the folks that helped us bring in the swim line and raft yesterday! Always a team effort!

Next on the docket for volunteer needs is Mon 10/19- if you’re able please visit Heather up at the field after 4pm. We’re looking for help organizing the shed, fall clean up of the field to get ready for winter and help with plans to finish the shed roof. Thank you!

Upcoming stuff alert 😆😊😊

Time to prep for the winter season here at MLC!

We are pulling the swim lines and raft back onto the beach around 2pm this Sunday. Could also use a little beach clean up help (rake, remove pinecones, pick up debris).

Monday 10/19 at 4pm, we will be working in field to do some clean up, start plans for completing the roof of the lean to and organizing the shed.

All experience levels welcome!
All help greatly appreciated!

Hi all!

We would like to thank all the wonderful people who came out to our MLC Field Dedication Ceremony last weekend. We formally dedicated the club field to Eilleen Simmons with a beautiful plaque inlaid in granite. Eilleen was a highly active member in our club and in the greater local community as well. She passed away in May, 2016 and left quite a legacy.

Every person you see in these photos are descendants/relatives of Eilleen and attended our ceremony. ❤️

Hi all!

Volunteer or 2 needed on Halloween! We would love to bring back the costume contest. This will take place at the fire station, exact time TBD. Our board will handle the prizes, we’re just looking for someone to run the contest (does not take a lot of time).

Interested parties can message the club here or text/call Ryan at 978-302-1861.

We had a great annual meeting today taking care of club housekeeping and such, but the best part of it was welcoming some new folks to our board! Big huge thank you to Karen, Bria, and Danielle. We are so glad to have you!

Meeting minutes will be sent to all of our members within the next week for your reading pleasure 😊.

Join us this Saturday!

Hi everyone! The MLC will be hosting a ceremony to dedicate the MLC Field to Eilleen Simmons on Saturday 9/26 at 10AM. We will be honoring all of the years and love she contributed to our club and to the greater local community. She sure was one of a kind. Parking will be behind the fire station with overflow at the field. We can accommodate folks who need to park very close due to mobility issues as well. Please join us!

Hi everyone! We’d like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Groton Lakes Association for organizing their wicked fun annual Poker Run again this year.

Also another giant thank you to Michele, Angela and Melissa for hosting this years MLC dock in the event. They did an amazing job and it was so fun!

MLC members, our next event is the MLC Annual Meeting on Sunday 9/20. Please consider coming and being part of the important votes and decision making that happens that day. All input is welcome!
