We are all mourning the loss of our dearly beloved community member Barbara Rich. She left this world a better place and we are grateful for all she did to inspire and motivate the GIC, and all the meaningful work she did with her wider community.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected by the horrific murders at Bondi Beach. Sharing a statement from one of our local faith communities.

On this Hanukkah, our thoughts are with those impacted by the horrific anti-semitic attack that took place in Australia earlier today. Our hearts go out to the 11 souls lost, the 29 people wounded, including Ahmed al Ahmed the bystander who disarmed one of the shooters, the Jewish community of Australia, and to our Jewish siblings around the world.

We are heartbroken that this day of light and peace became one of darkness and violence for so many.
