**Attempt to Locate Owners**

This female bully was located on Osprey Drive earlier this week, and we still have been unable to locate her owners. Please share this post and reach out to our ACO's if you have any information: 860-441-6709. Thank you!

Groton is a community that happily comes together for our kids. Our two mayors, Juliette Parker & Jill Rusk, and of course our faithful supporter, State Rep. Dan Gaiewski. Both town & city police forces, lead by everyone’s favorite (Officer Chase), Ofc. Heather, Ofc. Sherif, Cpl. Steph & Ofc. Cooper (who let kids climb into his cruiser). Two libraries, Ms. Marsha & Ms. Mary-Jane of Bill Memorial Library, and Ms. Tracy & Ms. Emily Groton Public Library. Both the town & city Parks & Recs, Ms. Denisse and Mr. Jordan. Snacks provided by Mr. Ernie & Ms. Justine and Ms. Erica. Free car seat checks (and replacements when needed) by Ms. Kelsey and her top notch crew. Let’s not forget some of our kiddos favorite stations NESS, Mystic Aquarium, and Denison Pequot Nature Center - and that’s on top of getting to tour a school bus, adopt pets (the stuffed animal variety, of course), make beaded bracelets, take home books, on top of tons of other goodies. Families got to stop and chat with lots of other important community organizations, after being welcomed by the one and only, Ms. Theriault of both MRMS & TRMS 🤗The ECRF is also an opportunity for community organizations to come together, share ideas, and expand. For example, Ms. Carolyn of GASP and Children First’s Ms. Jessica got a chance to talk about expanding the Groton ROCKS (Recognizing Our Children’s Kindness & Safety) program from the elementary schools, to possibly include our middle and high schools with Ofc. Sherif. When we all work together, we can make great things happen in and for our community. Speaking of community, this day wouldn’t be possible without our community of volunteers behind the scenes helping set up and break down our event, or our teen volunteers helping out at our fun stations. We’re all excited to see you next year at our 5th annual Early Childhood Resource Fair! And families, check your voicemails to see if you won one of Children First’s baskets containing lots of goodies for the family, and gift cards from Walmart, Big Y, or Stop & Shop!
