Rosewood Independent Living Community is looking for a dependable and caring Weekend Cook to join our team!

What We Offer:

✅ Guaranteed 24 hours per week September through December
✅ Scheduled every Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
✅ Fridays (3:00pm-7:00pm) available October through December
✅ Additional shifts available immediately for those wanting extra hours
✅ Supportive, family-like work environment

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing delicious, home-style meals for our residents
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Helping create a warm, welcoming dining experience

We're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys cooking, and has a passion for serving seniors.

Yesterday a few of our residents and team members enjoyed a fun afternoon at the Groton SD Wage Memorial Library’s, Puzzle, Popcorn & Pop Challenge! 🧩🍿🥤 They even got to work on a brand-new puzzle they hadn’t done before.

We love opportunities like this that keep our residents active, social, and connected with the community. Moments like these are just one of the many ways we make each day engaging and enjoyable here at Rosewood Court.

We loved welcoming the Groton FCS students to Rosewood Court for a fun afternoon of bingo with our residents! 🎉

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughs, snacks to enjoy, and prizes won — but most of all, meaningful moments shared between generations.

Thank you to these wonderful students for spending time with our residents and bringing such great energy into our community. We’re so grateful for partnerships like this! 💛

Rosewood has been a part of our family for 15 years. It started as a great opportunity for us to help residents of our community and instantly led to a place we would call home. We moved to town where our kids went from farm life to growing up surrounded by what they consider “bonus grandparents”. We enjoyed years of life lessons, activities, hearing how each resident grew up/lived their life, and eating home cooked meals with them.

We have been overwhelmed with support the entirety of our ownership as family, friends, and businesses of the community stopped in to do activities, sang to us, donated fun meals, and gave us so may other wonderful memories.

Don’t worry, we might be going but we would never leave without making sure Rosewood was in the best hands.

We are thrilled to welcome Mike & Regan Shilhanek to the Rosewood family! We have no doubt that their family is going to do wonderful things for the Rosewood residents & are excited to watch them grow!
