🏆 NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Congratulations to the Oceanside Outlaws 13U on an incredible Super Bowl victory over the 603 Outlaws at Brown University!

The Outlaws battled their way to a 30-22 win to capture the championship and earn the title of New England Champions!

What a tremendous accomplishment for this team. Their hard work, dedication, and determination throughout the season paid off on the biggest stage. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families who helped make this championship run possible.

Good luck to Tycen Labelle as he competes at the New England Championships today! After an outstanding season that included success at the ECC Championships and both Connecticut State Meets, Tycen will look to continue his junior campaign on a high note against some of the best athletes in New England.

Coach Richards had a pizza party and celebration of awards with his golfers today (love seeing them in the Adirondack!). 7 out of 9 were able to attend (Kolby & Kaz not in the pic), and they celebrated their ECC Division Championship, placement in States, individual awards and ECC All Stars & of course, our STATE CHAMP, Josiah Wells!

Griswold Athletics is proud to announce our final Athletes of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year!

MJ Brockway has been named Athlete of the Week after delivering an incredible performance on the mound during the state tournament. MJ pitched a phenomenal game under pressure, keeping Griswold in the fight and showcasing the determination, leadership, and competitiveness that have defined his season. His effort on one of the biggest stages of the year was nothing short of outstanding.

Joining MJ is junior golfer Josiah Wells. Josiah capped off an incredible season by capturing the CIAC State Championship with a remarkable round of 71. His consistency, dedication, and success throughout the year helped lead Griswold Golf to an eighth-place finish among 32 teams at the state championships. Josiah’s achievement is one of the finest individual accomplishments in Griswold athletics this year.

Congratulations to MJ and Josiah on being named our final Athletes of the Week for the 2025-2026 school year! Thank you to all of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for another memorable year of Griswold Athletics.

Congratulations to Tycen LaBelle on being named the Domino’s ECC Athlete of the Year for Boys Track and Field!

Tycen has continued to dominate the running world throughout an outstanding junior season, consistently competing at the highest level and delivering exceptional performances. His dedication, work ethic, and determination have made him one of the top athletes in the conference and a leader for Griswold Track and Field.

These well-deserved honors are a testament to the countless hours of training and commitment Tycen has invested in his sport. Congratulations on an incredible season, and best of luck as you continue to chase even greater accomplishments.

State Champion!

Congratulations to Griswold’s Josiah Wells on capturing the CIAC State Championship today with an incredible round of 71! Josiah’s outstanding performance earned him the individual state title and capped off a remarkable season for Wolverine Golf.

As a team, Griswold also had an excellent showing, finishing 8th out of 32 teams in the state championship field. What an accomplishment for our golfers to compete among the best teams in Connecticut!

Congratulations to Josiah and the entire Griswold Golf team on an unforgettable season. We are proud of your hard work, dedication, and success representing Wolverine Nation!
