Today MGC members became “Pinball Designers.”

They used peg boards, wooden pegs, rubber bands and plastic cups to engineer their own pinball game.

Our August Kid Librarian is Kora H.

Kid Librarian is for kids (12 and younger) who enjoy coming to the library, love books and want to share their favorite books with other kids, and make connections at the library. The Community Service Committee planned a fun Toiletry Trivia night held June 30th at the Fairgrounds. The club collected 120 pounds of toiletries and cleaning products for MICA in Grinnell!!

To cap off an eventful County Fair week, we were lucky to Share the Fair with Mayflower residents on Monday evening.

Some highlights from the poultry, rabbit and horse shows. Team Pole Relay got 1st place today. Tomorrow are goats and sheep in the morning, with the dairy and beef later in the day.

Busy day for the Mighty Golden Clovers on Saturday during Indoor Judging. The Exhibit Building opens at 8am on Wednesday to see their work!

Sunday MGC members toured Valais Blacknose Sheep of Sugar Creek!

Members learned all about how the Valais Blacknose arrived in the US, their breed characteristics and what makes them so special.

Kristy (owner) let a couple of lambs roam the barn during our business meeting…who can revisit lamb snuggles!

Gracie gave a presentation about their markings, how their horns grow, and how they are graded (judged).
