We wanted to give you all a quick update - as we are on the homestretch of getting the GP3 Tornado Relief Grants out the door.

GP3 received notification that the anonymous, non-local committee reviewing applications have completed the review process. Only those who experienced property loss due to the tornado were eligible to receive grant proceeds.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors both near and far, a total of $240,556.24 was raised through the Equity Bank Tornado Relief Fund and the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation (GNWKC) Neighbors Helping Neighbors Fund to assist those impacted by the storm.

Just three months after a tornado ripped through Grinnell, Kansas, the heart of the town was beating strong again Friday night as the Gove County Community Foundation hosted the After the Storm Revival & Street Concert featuring Kansas native Logan Mize.

July 15th is just around the corner! This is a friendly reminder to submit your Tornado Relief Grant Applications for the first round of applications - due by next Tuesday!

💰 Who is eligible?
Property owners who were affected by the May 18th tornado.

📄 Need an application?
Contact a GP3 member or Jewel at the City Office to get a copy.
