Thrift store is open Wednesdays and Saturday’s only. Volunteers are needed!

I have to brag some on our wonderful and caring volunteers here at the mission. We are truly blessed. Thank you, Colleen for bringing this delicious lasagna. It’s a lifesaver. It’s such a good feeling to know when someone is down that you have others who care and will help out.  everybody is pitching in and taking a lot of weight off of our shoulders for this next two weeks.!!!

Another Blessed Christmas event accomplished at Grifton Mission Ministries it was a freezing but fun day sharing laughs and fellowship among our volunteers as they passed out food boxes, hot meals and tons of gifts to families in need. Merry Christmas to all of our volunteers and those who came out to see us. You are the best’ I want to give a special thank you to Miss Hazel Bays for making the delicious tins of homemade yummy‘s to pass out. This is community coming together. ❤️

GMM PARKING/ ROADWAY TICKETING

In an effort to reduce Traffic congestion and avoid receiving a ticket for being on the side of the road ( as per town manager) GMM will open the gate for food box recipient’s on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00am. You will be directed where to line up.
There is no need to come any earlier. DO NOT line up outside the gate or along the roadway anytime before 9:00! Or before the gate is open.
We will continue our regular schedule and begin handing out food boxes around 9:30 depending on the number of volunteers, It takes a couple of hours of prep time each day to get ready. We are in need of volunteers in order to speed up the process and limit wait time for you

I would like to do a simple update concerning our food distribution days. GMM will continue to give out food boxes every Monday and every Thursday from 9:30 AM until 3 PM as we have done for many many years now. There will be and have not been any changes with GMM we will continue to get good food to those who need it! Our thrift store is now located in the old Piggly Wiggly building next to Dollar General
