🐾 FOUR DOGS. $194. LET’S GET THEM OUT!

These FOUR Lincoln County dogs have a rescue commitment and a chance to hitch a ride out of here! ❤️

But FIRST, we need to raise $194 for their required health certificates.

💰 GOAL: $194

**if we get more than $194, we will put towards travel to and from vet and to meet rescue partner because we need gas money too 🥴🤞

🚗 Once we get that covered, we will need a DRIVER to take them to Critter Connection for the health certificates.

🐾 WHAT HAPPENS BEHIND THE SCENES? 🐾
And the reason we do what we do 💕

When we aren’t posting, what are we doing? Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at just ONE recent case — Sally. 💙

Sally was first reported to us roaming around the Mud River Dam, severely malnourished and suffering from mange.

Volunteers searched for her but couldn’t find her. A trap was eventually set, and after more searching and waiting… Sally was finally caught! 🙌 (thanks to our new volunteers 😉)

She was taken straight to Critter Connection, where Dr. Brandy Evans came in on a Sunday to assess and begin treating her. Because of how poor her condition was, Sally remained there for care until she was healthy enough to go to a foster home.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, we were networking her with rescue after rescue. Rejection after rejection. We kept trying.

Then we finally got the YES we had been waiting for! 💙 Animal Lifeline accepted Sally!

On August 23, Sally caught a ride with another rescue transport and officially began the next chapter of her life. 🥹🐾

These pictures show just how far this girl came in such a short time.

One dog. Countless messages. Hours of searching. A trap. Vet care. Boarding. A foster home. Rescue networking. Transportation. And a whole lot of people working together.

THIS is what happens behind the scenes.

Our 2nd annual Bingo is complete! We’d like to thank all of our generous donors listed below. We truly could not make this event happen without you! Facebook won’t let our page tag many of you, so please tag yourself/your business in the comments!

To everyone that attended tonight, we hope you had a great time despite the heat. 🥵 Hopefully, next year will include air conditioning (or at least cooler outside temps!)

The money we made tonight will help us continue to save the lives of animals here in Lincoln County. We appreciate all of you so very much. ❤️ 🐾

Update - this baby was secured and is currently at The Critter Connection being treated. It’s a girl and we have named her Sally!

We are still searching for this baby who remains at large in the Mud River Dam area. Lee Preece has set a trap and DNR has tried to catch it with a pole.

This poor baby needs vet care ASAP and we have raised the funding for it. If you are able to catch this dog, PLEASE reach out to us!

Bingo prize #10 is an authentic Kate Spade Purse. Valued at over $400, this mystery beauty will pair well with just about every outfit in your closet.

Bingo will take place TODAY, August 8th at the Lincoln County Memorial Fairgrounds in Hamlin. Doors are at 5pm, with games starting at 6pm. Concessions will be available for purchase.

This is a CASH ONLY event. Tickets are $25 at the door and include 10 Bingo games. We’ll also have tickets available for 14 raffle prizes, a 50/50, and tips!

Although kids can’t play, they are welcome to come. We’ll have a “daycare” area with fun and games to keep them occupied!

Bingo prize #9 is a Summer Cool Down package with TWO prizes. This super fancy blender retails for over $100 and pulverizes ice into snow for slushies, frozen drinks, etc. The fan will cool you down even on the dog days and it also retails for over $100!

Bingo will take place TOMORROW, August 8th at the Lincoln County Memorial Fairgrounds in Hamlin. Doors are at 5pm, with games starting at 6pm. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $25 at the door. We will have raffle prizes and door prizes, as well as 10 Bingo games.

Update #4 - DOG IS IN ROUTE TO CRITTER CONNECTION 🐾 We will continue to update as we get them. Thank you to the amazing lady that picked doggy up and transported to Critter Connection!!! Thank you Brandy and crew for coming out on Sunday to help this baby! We have no idea what the expenses will be and all donations are greatly appreciated!!! Because of you all we have enough funds to get this baby treatment !!!!!! Y’all are awesome 💕💙🐾 it takes a village !!!!!

Update #3 - Update #2 was bad info! The dog remains at large around the Mud River Dam area. Lee Preece set a trap today to try to catch it. A local DNR officer tried to catch it with a catch pole, but was unsuccessful. If you are able to secure this dog, please message us so we can get it the vet care it desperately needs!

Update #2- we were told someone has picked up the dog. Please reach out to us so we can get to the vet/ help with vet bill!

Update #1 - we have someone going to look for the dog, and if found, it will be going to The Critter Connection in the morning! We will still need a long term foster (we actually need two as we already have another dog boarding/healing there). *

We cannot help this dog unless we have funds and a place for it to go!!!!😭😭😭😭

If you’re willing to foster and can pick the dog up, FOALC will help with the veterinary expenses as donations come in. The dogs location is Mud River, WV.
