It's taken some time and given me some more gray hairs, but the Humane Society of Spalding County is now enrolled into the Community Rewards program of Kroger. That means if you shop at Kroger and link your shopper's card with us, they donate a small percent of what you spend to us. A very small percent, but the more people who join in, the more we can make, the more good we can do. According to the rules, we can only share this news in this type of forum to 'our people', but I wanted to let you know how to join and help. (You can tell anyone you want.) 1. You need to have a Shopper's Card from the store. It's free and most people already have one. 2. You need a digital account for Kroger at Kroger(dot)com. Also free and you can access on a phone, tablet, laptop and maybe a way I don't know about. (The digital coupons are fantastic!) 3. Make sure your card and digital account are linked, which they usually are. 4. Sign in to your digital account at Kroger(dot)com. Probably way at the bottom of the page it will say "COMMUNITY REWARDS". Click on it. 5. You will have to search for HUMANE SOCIETY OF SPALDING COUNTY. The address is on the N Expressway, STE 303. 6. Click on Enroll until it says you are enrolled. That's it. Thank you! (Check the bottom of your receipt the next time you shop there to double check we are getting it.)
