Sorors of Xi Beta Omega gathered for our March 2026 Chapter Meeting in the true spirit of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated — united in sisterhood, purpose, and service. Each time we come together, we strengthen our bond and renew our commitment to the work that makes a difference in our community.

We are thankful for the fellowship, the leadership, and the love of sisterhood that continues to keep Xi Beta Omega strong.

💗 Ivy Beyond the Wall 💗

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we share that our beloved Soror Cheryl Walker has become an Ivy Beyond the Wall.

Soror Cheryl was a faithful and impactful member of Xi Beta Omega Chapter and a devoted leader within our region. She served as Cluster V Coordinator and most recently as Graduate Advisor for the Upsilon Phi Chapter at Gordon State College. Her legacy of mentorship, service, leadership, and unwavering sisterhood will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

We honor her commitment to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and to our community. She was truly a woman of grace, wisdom, and strength.

2026 Scholarships Are Now Open!

In collaboration with P.A.N.E.L., Inc., the Xi Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Griffin, Georgia is proud to announce that scholarship applications are officially open!

We are committed to supporting and celebrating academic excellence by awarding scholarships to outstanding students who reside and attend high school in Henry, Lamar, Pike, Spalding, and Upson Counties.

We are proud to share that Xi Beta Omega was honored to receive the Dream Keeper Award from the Barnesville Martin Luther King Committee. Dr. Andrea Scandrett, President accepted the award on behalf of the chapter.

Upsilon Phi’s President, Shakerria Hudson, was part of the program and did a fabulous job representing her chapter. We are incredibly proud of her leadership and pride.
We are grateful for this award as we work toward our goal of service to all mankind.

The members of Xi Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.proudly hosted the MGJFD luncheon February 7th in Peachtree City. It was truly a spectacular celebration of sisterhood, service and shared purpose. The room was filled with elegance, laughter, and unmistakable bond that unites us as women committed to excellence and impact. Our dynamic keynote speaker, Charletta Wilson Jacks inspired and energized the audience with powerful words that uplifted, motivated and reminded us of the strength found in unity and purpose. From meaningful connections to beautiful moments of fellowship, the luncheon reflected the heart of our sorority and the power of coming together in love and unity. It was a great day to be an AKA!!!
