Our Club has volunteers at the entrance gate every day of the Fair this year. Thank you to our volunteers and the Kiwanis Club of Griffin!

It is always a fun time greeting the excited children (& adults 😃) on their way into the Fair. 🎟️🎡🎠 Four more days of thr Fair. Tractor Pull is Saturday starting at 1pm and going into the night! 🚜 Also, don’t miss out on getting a couple of the Kiwaniannes famous Fair Korn Dawgs! 🌭

Due to an SCP Clubhouse snafu, the buffet is cancelled, but Byron is providing free desserts,coffee,teas etc beginning 7 PM. 🍺THERE WILL BE BAR SERVICE!🍷

Our Sun City Civitan Club lost a long-time Civitan member, 2025-2026 President-Elect, frequent volunteer and good friend, Dave Main, this week. Please join with us to pray for his wife Louise and their entire family.

SUN CITY CIVITAN CLUB FOUNDATION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Sun City Civitan Club Foundation has recently been awarded two new Grants from the Georgia Civitan Foundation. These Grants support our club’s mission to serve our Intellectual and Developmental Disability communities in Griffin.

Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center, presently serving students from three months to ninth grade, and growing, will receive $50,000 for a Safety & Security Hardening Project for their school.

The Griffin Area Resource Center, a day program serving clients eighteen years of age to seniors, will receive $15,000 to create a Sensory Engagement Room Project to add to their programming.

In addition to these latest Grants, working with the Georgia Civitan Foundation has enabled our Sun City Civitan club to complete various additional impactful projects which includes the funding of a Music Therapy & Sensory Reset Classroom Project as well as a Micro-Entrepreneurship Project (Embroidery Business) for the Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center. We also funded the Pop-Up Snack Shop & Creative Zone Project at the Griffin Area Resource Center.
