Gridley Emergency Services have Vial of Life refrigerator magnets for anyone in the community needing one. It is important to have a DNR and current medication list available quickly for first responders. The Vial of Life magnets are available by calling the non-emergency number at the GEMS building, 309-747-2699 and leaving your name, address, and telephone number and a GEMS member will deliver one to you or they are available at the Gridley Telephone office.

On Thursday May 21st from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Care Mobile Health Clinic will be at the Gridley Christ Community Church in the parking lot (406 W 7th St., Gridley, IL) offering health services. In addition, this time they will also be doing a free shoe distribution while supplies last. Limited sizes and styles.

-Gridley Ambulance Breakfast 8:00-10:30 at the Community Building
-American Legion service 8:30 at the McNaught Cemetery
-American Legion service 9:00 at the Waldo Cemetery
-Bike decorating 9:30-10:30 at the Fire Station, open to everyone (decorations provided by the Gridley Firemen)
-Parade starts at 10:30 from 3rd St. Park North on Center St. to Seventh. Veterans, Active Duty and/or family members are invited to march or ride in the parade
-American Legion Memorial service 11:00 at the Gridley Cemetery
