On Saturday, June 20th I will be running Grandma’s Half Marathon and Danny Ripka is running the full! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re running to support the opening of our Simply Love Schoolhouse this summer — a place where orphans and children can learn, grow, and feel truly loved as we continue to serve even more children. 💛

We’re hoping to build a playground for the kids (swings, a slide, and monkey bars) and dedicate it to a very special supporter, Patricia, who is currently in hospice after a cancer diagnosis.

The kids know Patricia so well — she has always sent them videos saying hello and making them feel loved from afar. She was also a kindergarten teacher in Holdingford and has poured so much love into children her whole life. We want to honor her by naming it “Patricia's Playground.” 💕

My goal is 13 sponsors — one for each mile I’ll run. A suggested donation is $100, but any amount means so much!

Tanzania countdown - 3 days!! This is also a really special project for us as we honor Mac’s dad, who started the orphanage and passed away unexpectedly from diabetes just six months before I met Mac. 🤍

We will be helping people and children who are deeply in need where even $100 can completely change their life. Whether it’s helping someone finally start a small business or getting the healthcare they’ve been praying for come join in on this project.

Even $50 can make a huge difference for them, but our goal is $100 per person to truly help them in a significant way. Give what you can to someone like you. ❤

✨ Sunday is coming! ✝️ I’m heading to Tanzania next week, and we’re kicking off a few fundraisers before I go. First up - our Easter Meal 🤍 Watch our video from previous years on our stories and please help if you can to be apart of it this year!! We'd be so grateful.

We’re preparing a special Easter meal for the children at the orphanage, our Simply Love Schoolhouse students, and kids in the surrounding community who may have nowhere to go this Easter.

For many, this will be their first warm meal in weeks and for most their very first Easter egg hunt!! 🥚🍬
