Hey everyone!! So, if everyone doesn’t know by now, our fire fighters are VERY involved in the community in several aspects – giving coats away to students, raising money for MDA, raising money for charitable causes, etc. That being said, local blood banks are in SERIOUS NEED of blood for a variety of reasons, and with members of our local Red Cross Blood Drive being union brothers and sisters from Teamsters Local 554, we are hosting a blood drive at our union hall, 6005 Grover St., THIS THURSDAY from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.!!!
This can make a huge difference and is one of the most selfless things you can do to help someone in severe need! A small needle poke is all it takes to potentially help save a life, and the professionals with the American Red Cross are absolutely the best at making this the most painless, easy process it can be to make a MAJOR difference!! If you're unable to donate yourself for any reason, do use a favor and just share this post to help us capture as many eyeballs as we can!! Every little bit helps!
If you can stop by for just a little bit this Thursday, it would make a huge difference for people all across our city!! We will have our members offering up their arms for others, and we would absolutely love it if you could join us!!
