“What goes around comes around” says: You get what you deserve, and you should give others what they deserve.

Jesus says: Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. — Luke 6:36

“What goes around comes around” says: An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Jesus says: “If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.” — Matthew 5:39

“What goes around comes around” says: The way someone treats you should influence the way you treat them.

Jesus says: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” — Luke 6:27

“What goes around comes around” says: Your mistakes stick with you forever.

Jesus says: “Your sins are forgiven.” — Luke 7:48

And here’s the reminder we all need: Receiving care is not failing at faith. It is an act of faith.

You can love Jesus and still be hurting. You can have faith and still need help. You can trust God and still be healing.

Whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to carry it alone. 💙

Happy Pastor Appreciation Day! 💙

We asked our staff to share a few words and they had plenty to say! Some were happy to jump in front of the camera, while others prefer to share their appreciation from safely behind the scenes. 😂 Either way, the love and gratitude are the same!

WE also want to recognize the incredible pastors, ministry directors, and leaders who pour into our kids, youth, families, and community every single day. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but the impact is felt in countless ways.

Thank you for showing up, loving people, pointing us toward Jesus, and helping make WE a place where people can belong and grow.

A Message from Pastor Craig ⬇️

After our six-month summer and three-week monsoon season, fall has arrived. I’m seeing pumpkin-patch pictures of families who aren’t drenched in sweat or covered in mud. Some of the parents even appear to be smiling voluntarily.

We can sleep with the windows open. The trees are about to put on a show. These are terrible days to spend refreshing our phones.

Paul reminds us to put our hope in God, “who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment” (1 Timothy 6:17). Not just our survival. Our enjoyment.

Enjoy your pumpkin-flavored everything. Walk through the leaves. Watch football. Make chili. Sit around a fire with friends. Get lost in a corn maze and briefly consider starting a new life there. Buy a pumpkin big enough to need a spotter.

I know there are real things to worry about. But enjoying a good afternoon doesn’t mean you don’t care. You don’t have to solve everything before you’re allowed to enjoy something.

Thank God for a good gift this week. Take time to enjoy it. And share a little of that goodness with somebody else.
