Who needs extra hands when you’ve got wings? 🦜

Our macaw decided to lend a very enthusiastic helping beak today while we rolled out fresh paper for the bottom of the enclosure. From supervising every move to “testing” the paper quality (aka shredding the edges), it quickly turned into a team effort… whether we planned it or not.

Let’s just say productivity may have slowed down, but entertainment levels were at an all-time high. 😂

You ever take a bite of food and instantly realize you committed to way more than you can handle?

Our bearded dragons just did that. Absolute mouthful of lettuce. No hesitation. No exit strategy. Just vibes and poor decisions.

The confidence going in? Elite.
The immediate “oh no” once it’s all in their mouth? Too real.
The slow, overdramatic chewing like they’re trying to buy time and figure out what went wrong? We’ve all been there.

It’s giving “I can definitely finish this” followed by consequences.

Honestly, I’ve never related more to a reptile. 🥬

📦✨ Marshmallow’s New Favorite Toy ✨📦

We got Marshmallow a brand new cardboard box today… and let’s just say, it was an instant hit 😂

The moment we set it down, she zoomed straight for the little doors we cut out—popping in and out like a tiny desert ninja 🦊💨 Her ears barely fit through, but that didn’t stop her from making it her personal playground.

After a few high-speed laps and some dramatic box ambushes, she flopped over right next to us, rolling onto her back like, “Okay, I’m done. Time for pets.” 🥹❤️

From wild zoomies to the sweetest cuddles in seconds—Marshmallow really said: balance.

Who knew a simple cardboard box could bring THIS much joy? 📦💕

We had a great time bringing animals to Whitetail Creek Elementary in Gretna to help support their One School, One Book reading program featuring Who Would Win? 🐊🐍🦘
It was such a fun opportunity for students to connect what they’re reading with real, live animals and make the curriculum come to life in an exciting, memorable way. Hands-on experiences like these help spark curiosity, build connections, and make learning even more meaningful.
Thank you to Whitetail Creek Elementary for having us—we loved being part of this special program and sharing our animals with your students!
