⚠️ Louisiana Homeowners — If your property was damaged in this week's storms, read this before you do anything else.

We hope everyone stayed safe. If you're dealing with wind, rain, or hail damage, here are a few things to keep in mind before filing your claim:
✅ Document everything — photos and video before any cleanup or repairs
✅ Don't sign anything with a contractor until you know what your insurance will cover
✅ Your insurance company has an adjuster working for them — you can have one working for you
✅ A licensed public adjuster can help make sure you receive a fair settlement

LAPA members are licensed professionals who work exclusively for policyholders and not insurance companies.
