Today, we're saying farewell to our friends and neighbors at Flavours of India as they close for personal reasons. Flavours of India FlavoursOfIndiaSandy.us Francis, Sandra, and their chefs have been cooking up delicious, authentic Indian cuisine and building community for six years at Rockwood Market Hall, hosting fundraisers and community events along the way.
Business owners like Francis and Sandra make a major difference in East Multnomah County and Gresham, supporting their staff with fair wages and providing healthy, fresh meals to their customers at a reasonable price—all while contributing resources to local programs and service providers. They have used their platform to raise awareness about programs like our tool library and events hosted by the city and local nonprofits. Flavours of India has been essential to the Rockwood Market Hall lineup, making this open-air community food hall into a destination for East County. Sandra has also participated actively as a volunteer at the Gresham Senior Center and participated in Chamber of Commerce meetings and events, in all of her "free time"!
We will miss your friendship, your partnership, and your incredible food! But we know you will do amazing things in the next step of your journey. Bon voyage!
