Sandy Michael from eskie rescue of st Louis got some dogs from a puppymill who dumped them. If you want to adopt this sweet boy he will be 1 on 11-21-2025. He is only around 20 lbs. Trying to be a good citizen last night with Alison Van Grinsven we got 1 dog they were wandering the streets and the owner surrendered the other. We took to Shawano County Humane Society but they need complete vetting. 2 males , 6 months old, peanut butter and jelly (aka jay) super friendly someone please adopt them. This beautiful boy will be coming into rescue soon. Meet Artie - he is 5 years old. Very friendly and affectionate but is not fond of young children due to having his fur and tail pulled in the past. His owner passed away and the family does not have the time Artie deserves. He is up to date on all shots and has no known health issues. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Artie, please PM here or call Kay at 920-944-3660

Please note - we have not yet taken Artie into rescue as we do not currently have a foster home available, but he is ready to come into rescue any time. The family of his owner is caring for him for now, but they work, and Artie is left alone so not an ideal situation.

We are doing a virtual card this year. We are announcing also we are going to retire from rescue. We will still watch whom we have placed. It's been 26 years in rescue. We are friends with many who have adopted. We will still be here for help if needed via transport or help finding an eskie out there for your family. UPDATE: A HOME HAS BEEN PICKED WE ARE AWAITING HIS NEW MOMS ARRIVAL TO GET HIM. We have a 2 yr old male, his momma just passed away. We have known Pam and Roger for many years., they loved their previous eskies bear and frosty. Roger passed 7 years ago and Pam had an eskie not from our rescue but we will help the family. UPDATE: SHE WENT TO HER FOSTER HOME/ADOPT HOME TODAY!!! WHAT A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MAGGIE!!! WE WILL KEEP ALL UPDATED! We are looking for a home that will accept Maggie Mae. Her liver count was very high today so her dental could not be done. We did bloodwork and she is HW negative and lymes negative. Whomever "adopts" her, we when we can pay for her dental and blood test she has to have in a month again. We think because of her bad teeth her levels in liver are high...soooo..we have her on meds to lower that. She is house trained, she is about 8 / 9 years old. pretty quiet, ok with other dogs but would prefere to be an only dog. Anyone interested in Maggie call me or email for an application for her. Maggie Mae not great news but may be fixed with time. . Her liver enzymes are 1100. She could not have dental today her teeth are very bad. So that may be elevating her enzymes. In a month we need to test again after she is on her meds. Our rescue is looking for someone to Foster for her, we will pay vet bills for dental and bloodwork. Would like to be an only dog because she loves attention. Potty trained. Loves the ladies but has been shown men don't hurt her and gives foster dad her belly now. Low key. No small children. She is abot 5 years old.
