Hello...yes, it has been awhile. I had decided to take a year off from social media. Here it is, July and the Bates Lavender Farm is calling my soul to come to visit. I hope you too will take advantage of a trip to the countryside and be in the beautiful scenic Columbia gorge area. On your way to the farm, think about traveling the Historic Columbia River Highway and enjoy the beauty that unfolds before your eyes. See the cataclysmic Ice Age floods (known as the Missoula floods) which heavily reshaped and widened the gorge. All the while, seeing the greatest power of a flood and how it reshaped and yet added beauty to the rock walls and waterfalls that leave us in awe many years later.
Once you arrive, be sure to visit their lavender shop. Filled with the many smells and gifts to buy for yourself or someone special in your life. Balms, oils, soaps and honey made in small batches bringing you the purest in handcrafted care.
