Another Camp Kia Kima trip in the books!

Watching these Scouts step outside their comfort zones, make new friends, and experience all the adventures camp has to offer is one of the best parts of Scouting. The tired faces, dirty clothes, and endless stories on the ride home tell you everything you need to know; we had a great weekend!

Afterward, you and your child can learn about our beautiful winged friends of the swamp while also getting to do some fun arts and crafts! 🦋🌳

Set sail for adventure at Wolf River Day Camp: Viking Adventure Week! From June 15–19 at St. Columba, Scouts will step into the world of fearless explorers and legendary warriors for a week packed with outdoor excitement.

Young adventurers will train like Vikings as they test their aim at archery and the BB range, cast a line during fishing, and compete with friends in the Gaga Ball Arena. Along the way, Scouts will unleash their creativity through STEM building challenges, dive into hands-on activities, and embrace the outdoors at the legendary Mud Pit.

Surrounded by the spirit of Viking ships, shields, and adventure, campers will build confidence, learn new skills, and make unforgettable memories with their fellow Scouts.

From outdoor adventures to hands-on activities across camp, this fall event will be one you won’t want to miss.

After crossover, our scouts got to participate in a flag retirement ceremony. People from all over the community came together and donated countless damaged American flags for retirement. This taught our scouts the proper way to retire the American flag with dignity and respect. We were honored to have Marine, and Grenada City Mayor, Charles Latham join us for our event.

February 22nd was a special day for our scouts, specifically our Arrow of Light scouts. For years these young men have worked hard, learned countless skills, and advanced through the ranks of Cub Scouts. On this day, they took part in a very special crossover ceremony and joined the troop! We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication. 🐺➡️🦅
