While praying this morning I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “don’t let your momentary weakness cost you your birthright.”

Do not trade away in a moment what God has spent years preparing in you.

So many are standing in seasons of pressure, fatigue, disappointment, and spiritual exhaustion.

The battle has been intense, the warfare has been relentless, and the enemy has come with one assignment, to convince you that what God promised is not worth the cost of holding onto it.

Just as Esau came in weary from the field and traded his birthright for a bowl of stew, there are believers today who are being tempted to exchange eternal promises for temporary relief.

The enemy knows he cannot take your calling by force, so he will try to persuade you to surrender it through compromise.

He will offer comfort in exchange for consecration.

He will offer convenience in exchange for covenant.

He will offer a moment of satisfaction in exchange for a lifetime of purpose.

The enemy is bringing many to the line right now to see what it will take for them to fold up their tent and walk away.

He is attacking from every side.

He is whispering, "it's too hard. It's taking too long. Nobody sees your sacrifice. Just quit."

But I hear the Lord saying, "hold on to what is yours."

Hold on to the promises God spoke over your life.

Do not make permanent decisions based on temporary exhaustion.

The battle you are facing is not proof that God has abandoned you, it is often evidence that what you carry is valuable.

The enemy does not fight empty vessels this fiercely.

He attacks what threatens his kingdom.

Some of you are tired, but you are closer than you realize.

The pressure has increased because the promise is near.

The warfare has intensified because the enemy sees what is on the horizon.

Do not surrender your mantle because of a difficult season.

Do not abandon your assignment because of temporary pain.

Do not trade your birthright for something that cannot satisfy your soul.

There is an assignment with your name on it.

There is an inheritance with your name on it.

And the Lord is reminding His people, "let no man steal your crown."

Whatever you do, do not give away what God entrusted to you.

The very thing the enemy is fighting so hard is the very thing God intends to use.

The warfare is revealing the value of what you carry.

If the enemy is contesting it this fiercely, it is because he knows there is power attached to your obedience.

So hold the line.

Plant your feet.

Protect the mantle.

Refuse to let go of what God has placed in your hands.

Because the stew is temporary, but the birthright is generational.

“Learn the art of releasing the lion on yourself and the lamb on others.” ♥️

The world is huge and there are great opportunities everywhere!

Growth and advancement is a choice.

Joseph chose his decisions wisely and mastered his attitude.

No matter how gifted or entitled you may feel , a bad attitude will always get you kicked right back to the end of the line.

Posture yourself with boldness and authority but also grace and humility!

Learn the art of releasing the lion on yourself and the lamb on others.

This art of self restraint will not only keep you, it will propel you into realms , dimensions and opportunities that most ordinary thinkers will never achieve!

Shut the door and pour!

Pour when you feel weak. Pour when it looks impossible. Pour when the vessel feels small. Pour when you cannot yet see increase. Pour when everything looks so broken and gone.

The enemy may have told you, “You’ve run out,” but God says, “You are standing in the middle of hidden supply.”

Shut the door on fear! Shut the door on every distraction! Shut the door on the exhaustion and grief! Many may see a shut door, but God sees a birthing room. Many may have tried to convince you that the season of miracles is over, but right outside that shut door your miracle is moving!

This morning I asked the Lord about very specific things in my life. Here are some answers He spoke to my heart. Maybe they will help and challenge you as well:

1. SPEND MORE TIME IN THE SECRET PLACE THAN YOU DO IN THE SPOTLIGHT. Let prayer be the architecture of your life rather than the accessory to it. Read the Word until the Word reads you. Cultivate deep, painful, glorious honesty before God about every part of yourself that still prefers the approval of people over the approval of heaven.

2. SERVE WHERE NOBODY IS WATCHING AND HONOR PEOPLE WHO CANNOT ADVANCE YOUR AGENDA. Stay faithful to the assignment in front of you instead of marketing yourself toward the assignment you imagine you deserve. These are not optional spiritual disciplines for the unusually devout. These are the actual pathways through which God entrusts greater influence to those He can genuinely trust with it.

3. The final thing I will say is this: INFLUENCE IS A STEWARDSHIP, NOT A STATUS. The moment you begin treating it as a status, you have already begun losing the very thing that made it meaningful. Every platform, every open door, every room where people lean in when you speak is a sacred trust placed in your hands by a God who is watching what you do with it.

Walk humbly. Stay surrendered. Let your character outgrow your gifting, not the other way around. The weight of real authority always feels like a cross before it ever feels like a crown.

They called you difficult because you refused to stay silent in rooms built on compromise.
They called you rebellious because you questioned systems that thrived on your diminishment.
They called you unstable because your spirit would not settle where truth was being traded for comfort.

But Heaven never agreed with the names placed on you by limited understanding.

“Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.” — Romans 8:33

People labeled Jeremiah as too young while God called him appointed before birth.
People labeled Esther as unqualified while God positioned her for an appointed moment of deliverance.
People labeled Paul as dangerous while Heaven called him chosen and sent.

Mislabeling has always been the early language of misunderstanding.

You were not “too much.”
You were carrying conviction in environments dependent on your silence.
You were not rejected because you lacked worth.
You were resisted because your presence disrupted what was never aligned with truth.

Some only knew how to interpret your fire through the filter of their insecurity.
So they renamed your discernment “defiance.”
They renamed your boundaries “arrogance.”
They renamed your grief “instability.”
They renamed your obedience “disruption.”

But Scripture already spoke otherwise:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” — Jeremiah 1:5

The labels were never prophecy—they were projection.

God is now separating your identity from the accusations spoken over you by those who misunderstood what they could not control.
What they misnamed, Heaven is clarifying.
What they tried to discredit, God is establishing.
What they attempted to bury under misjudgment, He is bringing into alignment with truth.

“Though weapons are formed, they will not prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment you will condemn.” — Isaiah 54:17

You were never the problem as they described.
You were a mirror they did not want to face.
And instead of confronting what was reflected, they tried to distort the reflection.

Do not shrink to fit what was spoken in error.
Do not build identity on what Heaven never authored.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?” — Galatians 1:10

You are not who misunderstanding called you.
You are not who rejection named you.
You are not who false assessment reduced you to.

You are who God set apart, sustained, and is still unfolding.

Some people need you to be the villain in their story because your truth exposes the narrative they created to protect their dysfunction.

Joseph was hated.
David was slandered.
Jesus was crucified.

Not everyone will celebrate your obedience when it convicts their compromise.

But you must learn how to survive being villainized without becoming bitter.

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you… falsely, for my sake.” — Matthew 5:11

5 Ways to Overcome Being the “Villain” Biblically:

1. Don’t defend yourself more than God defends you.
Silence is sometimes warfare.

2. Refuse bitterness.
Wounded people wound people — healed people pray.

3. Stay committed to truth, not image management.
God anoints authenticity, not reputation control.

4. Let your fruit speak louder than accusations.
Time reveals character.

5. Forgive quickly and keep moving forward.
You cannot carry destiny while dragging offense.

Everyone will not understand your separation, your growth, or your obedience to God.

Some chapters require you to be misunderstood.

Protect your heart.
Guard your oil.
And keep walking with God anyway.
