The Grenada Soup Kitchen was founded by Cora Ford Ingram but is presently managed and operated by Barbara Benson. Her telephone number is 662-229-5465. Barbara is always looking for food/clothing/household donations, & caring volunteers. She feeds needy families, individuals, and shut-ins twice weekly + holidays. She also needs help in the garden planting, growing, and harvesting fresh vegetables/fruits for the soup kitchen.

🎣 The FOREVER-FAVORITE Kids' Fishing Rodeo is BACK for Thunder on Water - Grenada, MS - Saturday, June 13th. At the catfish ponds at the North End of the lake (look for the signs!)

✅ Free to enter
✅ 12 and under
✅ Gates open at 8 am on Saturday, June 13.
✅ All participants must be in line to fill out registration forms and receive a sticker for proof of registration.
✅ Fishing starts at 9:00 and ends at 10:30.
✅ Prizes will go to tagged fish
✅ Poles must be a cane pole. If participants only have a casting pole, it must be tied at the top to prevent it from being casted.
