Junior Auxiliary represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles in meeting community needs. ⛳💙 Will Hartley Memorial Golf Tournament 💙⛳

Join us for a day of golf, fellowship, and purpose as we honor the life and legacy of Will Hartley, beloved son of Sheriff Garrett Hartley and Karen Hartley.

The Will Hartley Memorial Golf Tournament was established to celebrate Will’s life and invest in the future of young men in our community. Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for local high school senior boys pursuing careers in the skilled trades, helping them take the next step toward a successful future.

Your participation as a golfer, sponsor, or supporter helps honor Will’s memory while creating opportunities for the next generation.

On April 10, our CSN committee had the best time hosting our annual babysitting class with the 5th grade Ingenue girls at the Upper Elementary! 💕

Each year, we go over all the basics they need to know to feel confident and prepared—from general babysitting tips to what to do in case of an emergency. The girls each received a “babysitting bag” filled with helpful resources, including a binder with important information like emergency steps and medication dosage charts.

One of the most important parts of the day was learning CPR. After a quick presentation, the girls got hands-on practice so they could feel comfortable actually doing it if ever needed.

We wrapped it all up with a snack before sending them back to class!

We love getting to pour into these girls and help prepare them with skills they can use for years to come. 💗

Happy JA Week! The words of one of our past national presidents, Mary Elizabeth Williams, still hold true: JA gives us a chance to utilize our best talents. Members of JA get to serve the most vulnerable in their communities, the children. They also get the opportunity to be a role model to the next generation.

Happy JA Week! What is JA? Junior Auxiliary is a group of women who desire to make a lasting difference in their communities by meeting the needs of its citizens, especially the children. Eighty-three chapters spanning the Southeast develop and administer hands-on projects that embody the organization’s slogan, “Caring hearts. Helping hands. Changing lives.”

Through our projects, God sends us to the hearts without a home and to lives without love. We are honored to be part of this amazing organization which allows us the opportunity to serve the children and families in our community.

Happy JA Week! Junior Auxiliary has chosen a National Focus of “Disconnect to Reconnect - Break the Cycle,” which encourages prioritizing quality time with loved ones by putting aside the devices that have become ubiquitous in our daily lives. While they undoubtedly enhance our productivity, we often allow them to distract us from those who deserve our time most. The National Focus has opened the door for conversations and projects centered around reducing screen time, how to use social media responsibly and the struggles many children are facing with body image. These crucial conversations could not have come at a more appropriate time, as our youth find themselves with more access to technology every day.

Junior Auxiliary encourages projects that are centered around the National Focus to ensure we are addressing issues relevant to the children we serve.
