So how does a motorglider work? This is how.

Our friends at Harris Hill Soaring Corporation (Elmira, NY) enjoying the Fall colors much like we do... Meanwhile in sunny Florida, the air is starting to dry out a bit and I suspect our members who live/fly down there part of the year will start enjoying some nice flights even though the days are getting shorter. There were nice cu's yesterday until 5PM and I wasn't dripping in sweat and a blanket of humidity. Does your Soaring Club send a glider down to Florida for the winter?

The fall colors continue to “bloom” here in Elmira and the FingerLakes region. Come and experience a Fall Flight at Harris Hill Soaring.
You can also explore the National Soaring Museum while you’re here!

The entire fleet is back "UP" and nearly all are assembled in the hangar. The only thing missing in the photo is Chick Noodle (our Schempp-Hirth Open Cirrus) and the Discus-2cT (which flies or otherwise lives in its trailer). It's a good feeling having three (3) Grob 103s back in the air at the same time again. Chicken Noodle should be assembled this weekend and ready to fly!
