Buena Vista Elementary PTA Our PTA supports an award-winning school on the east side of Greenville County, South Carolina. The Buena Vista Elementary PTA has a long history of excellence.

Last year, our volunteers logged more than 24,000 hours of service to our school. Riverside High School Teacher Cadets and Mentors spent more than 2,000 hours helping our students. Volunteers racked up more than 6,500 hours chaperoning field trips. People who worked on our fall carnival spent more than 3,200 hours helping to raise money for Buena Vista. Our Backpack Buddies helpers worked approxim

ately 500 hours packing food to send home with students right here at our school. Our Media Center volunteers logged about 800 hours. Finally, we are proud to that our volunteers dedicated about 9,000 hours supporting our programs from the comfort of their homes. That goes to show that we are active, we are involved, and we are flexible! The Buena Vista PTA has achieved 100% membership every year for three decades. Our goal each year is to get one membership per student enrolled in our school. We provide many incentives for people to join our PTA. The $5 membership fee goes toward paying our District, State, and National PTA dues. Our membership drive runs from the first day of school until September 20 when we hope to be able to announce that we have once again achieved our goal of 100% membership! Bobcat Families-School supply information for the 2026-27 school year is now available! Families have two options again this year:

📦 Purchase a pre-bundled supply kit with everything your child needs
🛒 Shop using the grade-level supply list and purchase items on your own

We hope this gives families the flexibility that works best for them. Thank you for helping us get our Bobcats ready for a great year ahead!
