My heart is with the people of Nepal and China as they face catastrophic flooding.

To everyone impacted by this disaster, know you are not alone. You are not forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods and places of worship.

With compassion needed now more than ever, I ask Lions and Leos everywhere to come together to support our brothers and sisters in Nepal and China and all those affected throughout the region.

May the people of Nepal and China find strength, comfort and hope in the days ahead.

Last night's Lions Club Meeting
We celebrated Jim and Hope Barbare. Lion Jim was recently elected one of the Lions International Directors in Hong Kong.
We dedicated a puppet stage at Tomorrows Rainbow Upstate. Our service project was to make Teacher Welcome Back treat bags to one of our local schools.

After a meal of hot dogs with homemade chili and all the fixins (and a big ole chocolate cake), we will go back to Double Springs Church for our business meeting and service project.

This month's project is TEACHER TREAT BAGS for BRMS teachers.
