A special moment for a very special leader.

Caroline Robertson, Executive Director of Greer Relief, was honored with the Order of the Palmetto—South Carolina’s highest civilian award.

The award was presented to Caroline on June 17th by Greer Mayor Rick Danner on behalf of SC Governor Henrey McMaster.

In attendance at the presentation ceremony were family, friends, Greer Relief staff, and community members who have seen her impact firsthand.

What does a day at Greer Relief look like?

It starts with volunteers.

Before our neighbors arrive, Choice Pantry volunteers are already hard at work—stocking shelves, organizing donations, preparing food, and creating a welcoming experience for every family who walks through our doors.

Every can stocked, every shelf organized, and every smile shared helps make it possible for neighbors facing difficult seasons to access the food and support they need with dignity and respect.

The impact is real. The work is meaningful. And there's a place for you on the team.

Want a fun, meaningful way to spend part of your Saturday?

We're looking for volunteers to help make the RENEW Thrift Shoppe Pop-Up a success on Saturday, June 27!

Whether you can help for a couple of hours or stay for cleanup, you'll be helping support Greer Relief's RENEW next-step education and empowerment programs that help neighbors build brighter futures.

Available Shifts:
☀️ 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM
☀️ 10:30 AM – Noon
🧹 Cleanup: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

No special skills needed—just a willingness to help and be part of something that makes a difference.

Derby fans, bring the energy. New to roller derby? This is the perfect night to experience the excitement while supporting local neighbors through Greer Relief's Choice Pantry.
