As-Sabeel Academy will extend eLearning through Tuesday, January 27.

This decision has been made due to current conditions involving freezing rain and ice, along with forecasts for unusually low temperatures. These conditions may continue to create unsafe road conditions, potential downed power lines, and possible loss of electrical services.

These days will not need to be made up, and instruction will be provided virtually. Teachers will communicate expectations and assignments through emails and Google classrooms.

As-Salamu Alikom Dear Parents

Due to the expected icy weather and unsafe road conditions, As-Sabeel Academy will be closed for in-person learning on Monday, January 26, 2026 to keep our students and staff safe.

All students will take part in eLearning from home. Teachers will share lessons and assignments virtually through emails and Google Classroom.

If there is a power outage or internet disruption, please don’t worry—teachers will be flexible with assignment submission dates.

Please stay safe and warm, and keep an eye on school messages for any updates!

Warm Regards,

Our Student Council rocks! This past November, our students worked incredibly hard to convince their peers that they would make the best representative for our Student Council. We had an amazing group of candidates this year. These students displayed their creativity and industriousness with the posters they made and the speeches they wrote. After our student body voted for them, they organized a hot chocolate sale for everyone. We look forward to more fun and creativity from our Student Council this year inshaAllah.
