It’s Cruz’s favorite season.. Football Season!
We all know he’s either playing football or watching his Tigers (Clemson and Blue Ridge) from up above. Here’s a tribute to Cruz to kick off the season.

Directing the line, you are driven by goals,
You snap the ball, and you know all the roles.
In a hospital room, so far from the field,
That ball is replaced with a sword and a shield.
Bravery emerges, the battle is sworn,
Without the help of your line, a warrior is born.
From cleats to chemo, your fans still cheer,
Football to cancer, you conquered all fear.
Heaven and earth both call to you, my son,
There is turf here in heaven, Momma,
This warrior's victories are won.
