Upper Savannah Land Trust The Land Trust was incorporated on October 1, 2000, by citizens of the region as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The first was a 33 acre tract.

The Trust was incorporated on October 1, 2000, by citizens of the region as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Finding widespread interest in our mission, the Trust began accepting easement from landowners. From this humber beginning, the Trust has grown to hold easements on more than 50,000 acres in northwestern South Carolina. The generosity and foresight of the many easement donors has made this phenomenal growth possible.

Upper Savannah Land Trust looks forward to hosting our annual fundraiser, Sporting Clays for Conservation, next Friday, October 23rd. THANK YOU to all the teams, sponsors, and raffle donors who have already committed.

We still have room for a few more teams and sponsors - if you plan to join us or support the event, please let us know by tomorrow or Monday, the 19th, at the latest.

With a donation of $150 your name will be on a sponsor sign placed at one of the shooting stations (see photos below from last year)!

Registration is now open for our 9th Annual Sporting Clays for Conservation Fundraiser! We hope you can join us at the Palmetto Shooting Complex in Edgefield, SC on October 23rd. We're always looking for new teams to participate and new sponsors to support land conservation in the western Piedmont of SC!
