If you haven’t been to a Greenwood Rotary meeting in a while, you’re missing out! Thanks to Program Chair Bettie Rose Horne, our meetings have become engaging, informative, and a lot of fun.

Yesterday’s meeting included:

🎸 A live guitarist who provided our spiritual moment
🇺🇸 A patriotic moment highlighting the significance of D-Day
🎂 A celebration of our June Rotary birthdays with a Rotarian rendition of Happy Birthday
😂 A comedy corner joke of the day
🎤 An inspiring presentation from Steve Coleman, founder and passionate leader of MODELS Academy
🤝 The induction of our newest member, Heather Hyatt

MODELS Academy, housed at Piedmont Technical College, is doing transformational work with young men in our community. Steve’s energy and commitment to developing future leaders was evident throughout his presentation.

A huge thank you to Steve and his team for the important work they are doing and for sharing their mission with our club.

Our very own Rotarian Christi Louden, Assistant Superintendent for Administration for School District 50, will lead the program and introduce the teachers being honored.
