Greenwood Education Foundation

Greenwood Education Foundation Greenwood Community School Corporation is proud to announce the formation of the Greenwood Education Foundation. With everyone’s help we will be even better!

Initiated by Dr. DeKoninck at the beginning of this school year, a Board of Directors has been chosen and the group has been hard at work building a strong framework for the venture. In the near future we will be inviting all friends, alumni and local businesses to join us in creating a path to a brighter future for our schools, staff and students. There is a link on the Corporation’s website for

the Foundation, which will soon be announcing upcoming events, opportunities and eventually the results of our community’s efforts. We look forward to providing this chance to be a part of an exciting endeavor as we build better avenues of communication and share our goals, dreams and achievements! Our Mission Statement

The Greenwood Education Foundation is committed to enhancing educational opportunities through
engagement and collaboration of the staff, parents, and the community to promote student excellence. In recent years, the State has lowered funding to our schools. There is no longer funding for professional development. Our goal is to provide the means for our schools and staff to create unique learning opportunities for our students.

Greenwood alumni have always shown up when it matters most.

The friendly "Best Class" competition isn't just about winning a trophy. It's about coming together to support the next generation of Woodmen. The Class of '94 currently holds the lead in dollars raised AND most participation. Is your class ready to challenge them?

You have until July 1 to make your gift and help your class climb the leaderboard. Donation link: https://greenwoodeducationfoundation.charityproud.org/Donate/?cid=20411
