INTRODUCING OUR 20TH EAGLE SCOUT
DEMETRICE RA'SHAD ROBINSON
Demetrice Ra’Shad Robinson is the proud son of Shameika Dixon and Demetrice Robinson. He joined Cub Scouts at the tender age of six. Growing up with his mother as a Cub Master and Scout Master provided him with unique opportunities to immerse himself in the world of Scouting, allowing him to bond with Boy Scouts and develop a passion for outdoor activities. Some of his favorite Scouting pastimes include swimming, kayaking, and camping. These activities not only fostered a love for nature but also taught him valuable skills in teamwork and leadership. Demetrice's commitment to scouting laid a strong foundation for his character and work ethic and contributed significantly to his overall development.
As a distinguished honors graduate of the mighty Greenwood High School Class of 2024, Demetrice served as Mr. GHS during the 2023-2024 school year. He continuously showcased his belief in the importance of academics and community service. He was also an active member of the GHS football team, Beta Club, and the Mayor’s Youth Council (City of Greenwood). Demetrice demonstrated his drive to put his community first through various projects. The principles he learned as a Scout, such as trustworthiness, loyalty, and helpfulness, will continue to guide him as he embarks on his journey at Ole Miss and during his service in the Air Force. Demetrice is committed to living by the Scout Law. He plans to return to help with Pack and Troop 4370 whenever possible, ensuring that he shares his knowledge and passion for scouting with the next generation.

Demetrices' Eagle Scout Project was "Connecting With The Past"

The Eagle Scout Candidate must do a Project that is beneficial to a person or to the Community.
Demetrice worked in collaboration with the Billion Graves Organization that aims to preserve the memories and legacies our ancestors by digitally documenting and mapping gravestones around the world. This project serves as a vital resource for genealogists, historians, and individuals seeking to connect with their heritage. By participating in this endeavor, He contributed to the preservation of our shared history and help countless individuals in their research. Demetrice uploaded 790 headstones to the Billion Graves Organization Project.

REMEMBER THIS? ARE YOU IN THIS PICTURE? WHO DID YOU GROW UP TO BE?

This was taken in 199? something. At the REC CENTER ON ELM STREET, GREENWOOD, MS. When Mr. Johnson first opened it. The guys in the back are professional athletes, Norm Nickson in the middle was a basketball player, for the New York Nicks. The other two are football players I don't remember their names. So if you are in this picture please fill in the blanks.......Who are you and where are you? Who are the other two guys? You were once in our Cub Scout Pack 4370 or when Amanda Elzy Elementary had a Cub Scout Pack 4384.
