Yesterday's Emerald City Antique Automobile Club of America "Cruise-In" was beautiful and bountiful! The challenge Jeff presented of Greenwood Locksmith donating $10 per car that showed up to be donated to the Greenwood County Veterans Center Homeless Mission was met with great participation and generosity.

We counted 41 cars @ $10 each: $410.00
Additional donations and a donation match brought the GRAND TOTAL to (drumroll please) : ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!

WOW WOW WOW! Thank you all for your participation, contributions, and blessed fellowship.

Rosalind Burke came out to the Cruise In with her granddaughter and distributed the Greenwood County Veterans Affairs hand towels.

For our next cruise in on Saturday, October 11 from 9 AM to noon, we will have the band called Homemade jam playing from 9 AM to noon. Sponsors for the event will be the Emerald city antique car club, Greenwood Locksmith, Eggs Up Grill, and Fat Daddy's BBQ. A focus of the event will be the veterans administration homeless program at the Greenwood County Veterans Center.
