The Greenwood Chorale is comprised of singers from all over the Delta who enjoy performing choral music. We present two concerts each season which are free to the public, performing both sacred and secular music covering a broad spectrum of musical periods and genres.

Greetings from the Greenwood Chorale! đź‘‹

If you’ve sung with us in the past, this message is for you. It’s time to start gearing up for a very special performance, and we need YOU to be a part of it!

Join us in celebrating the Nation’s 250th! 🇺🇸
We are planning a concert to honor this historic milestone, bridging the time between Memorial Day and Independence Day. The concert will feature a blend of remembrance and celebration, with narrations provided by local civic leaders.

Save the Date for our Annual Meeting:
đź—“ Tuesday, March 17th at 6:00 PM
đź“Ť St. John's Methodist Church (Choir Room)
We will be discussing music and plans for the spring/summer season.

Concert Dates (TBD):
We are looking at either Tuesday, June 16th OR Tuesday, June 23rd. We want to ensure the date works for the majority of the ensemble, so please let us know your availability!

We Need YOU!
This is bold music, and we need all the voices we can gather. We are especially in need of men—so if you know someone who might be interested, please share this post and spread the word!

Please join us on Tuesday, December 16 at 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church for our special holiday concert "On Christmas Night."

We will be joined by the wonderful soloist Dr. Shelley Buchanan-Garlotte and a beautiful chamber ensemble of flute, oboe, harp, organ, and percussion under the direction of Paul Brown.

Greenwood Chorale - Throwback to where we started! 🎵

As we put the final touches on our music today, we're feeling a bit nostalgic. These photos take us back to our first rehearsals in October in the choir room at St. John's Methodist Church.

We're so grateful to St. John's for hosting us, and now to First Presbyterian Church for being our performance home.
