💙💜💚 What an incredible honor for Haven for Healing! 💙💜💚

We were truly honored to be invited to speak at the 2026 Indiana Mental Health Roundtable Summit – Supporting Those Who Serve at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

Being given the opportunity to share the mission of Haven for Healing, the work happening every day at Haven’s Hope Ranch & Stables, and the powerful role horses can play in supporting mental health and emotional wellness was something very special to us.

We were able to share more about Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine-Assisted Learning, the Eagala model we use, and most importantly, the incredible individuals and families we have the privilege of serving.

To be in a room filled with professionals, organizations, and community leaders who are committed to improving mental health services and supporting those who serve was both humbling and inspiring.

We are incredibly grateful to the Indiana Mental Health Roundtable for inviting Haven for Healing to be part of this important conversation and for giving us the opportunity to share what we have learned through our work with veterans, military families, first responders, youth, and others in our community.

Every opportunity like this helps us spread awareness that healing does not always have to happen within four walls. Sometimes it happens in an arena, standing beside a horse. ❤️🐴

Mental Health Roundtable

❤️🤍💙 Grateful. Honored. And excited for what’s ahead. ❤️🤍💙

Yesterday, members of Haven for Healing had the privilege of attending the 2027 Grants for Veterans’ Services Recipient Celebration & Networking Event at the beautiful Indiana War Memorial.

We are incredibly grateful to the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) for awarding Haven for Healing $65,000 through the 2027 Grants for Veterans’ Services program.

This funding allows us to continue providing equine-assisted psychotherapy and support services for Indiana veterans, military members, and their families at Haven’s Hope Ranch & Stables.

For us, this grant represents so much more than a dollar amount. It represents more veterans having access to a place where they can feel safe, supported, heard, and connected. It means continuing to provide services without creating another financial barrier for those who have already given so much in service to our country.

We are deeply thankful to IDVA, Brad Harper, Brookelynn Deaton, and everyone involved in the Grants for Veterans’ Services program for believing in this work and investing in Indiana’s veteran community.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to spend the afternoon alongside so many other organizations and leaders who share the same mission of serving those who have served us.

Thank you, IDVA, for continuing to believe in Haven for Healing and in the healing that can happen when veterans are given the right support, the right environment, and sometimes… the right horse. ❤️🐴

**EAGALA Fundamentals Training Coming to Greenwood, Indiana – October 14–18!**

Hello, friends!

We are excited to share that **Haven’s Hope Ranch & Stables will be hosting an EAGALA Fundamentals Training October 14–18, 2026**, right here in Greenwood, Indiana!

We currently have **8 participants registered**, but we need additional participants in order for this local training to move forward. We would absolutely love to see this opportunity happen here in Central Indiana!

Hosting the training locally gives mental health professionals and equine professionals the opportunity to experience EAGALA Fundamentals without the added expense and time involved in traveling out of state for training.

If you know a **licensed mental health professional, therapist, counselor, social worker, or equine professional** who may be interested in incorporating horses into mental health and personal-development work, please share this opportunity with them.

At Haven’s Hope Ranch & Stables and Haven for Healing, we believe strongly in collaboration, education, and growing the network of professionals who can provide meaningful equine-assisted services in our communities. We are always looking for opportunities to grow our own team, and we are equally happy to open our ranch to professionals who simply want to learn something new and bring these skills back to their own practice or organization.
