Sycamore Cowboy Church is having a Gathering November 1 at Sycamore Shores, the home of Kathy A Carrier and Jamison Carrier. What a night! Last night we gathered by the lake to worship God. We had incredible sunset, a beautiful time of worship, and the privilege of watching people publicly declare their faith through baptism in the lake.

A huge thank you to Steve Sherwood for leading us in worship, and to every person who served, set up, welcomed people, helped behind the scenes, and made the night possible. It took a team, and I’m grateful for every one of you.

Most of all, thank You, God, for meeting us there.

Follow Jesus. Serve Others.

Less than two weeks away!

Friday night, September 11, we’re gathering by the lake for a night of worship with Steven Sherwood Jr.

Bring a lawn chair, bring your family, and come worship with us.

We’ll have a bonfire by the lake, and we’ll also be baptizing anyone who’s ready to take that step.

Friday, September 11 • 7:00 PM
Sycamore Shores
Rain or shine, if we need to, we’ll move into the barn.

Help us get the word out. Share this and invite somebody to come with you.

Everyone is welcome.

Kathy and I witnessed the devastation from the flooding firsthand and it just rips at your heart. Our neighbors right here in Indiana are hurting, and many have lost more than most of us can imagine.

This is an opportunity for us to be the body of Christ, to step up, serve, give, and love people when they need it most.

If you don’t already have another way to get involved, please consider making a donation to the The People Helping People Network. 100% of every dollar donated will go directly toward helping flood victims.

Whether it’s $5 or $50,000, it helps. Every gift matters. Every act of generosity matters.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

We have been praying for the families dealing with the flooding in East Central Indiana. Let us know if there’s a way we can help you.

We may be able to help with things like:
• Temporary pasture or space for displaced livestock
• Livestock transportation
• Jon boats
• Tractor and equipment help
• Moving hay, feed, supplies, or debris
• Temporary storage or a place to stage supplies
• Extra hands for cleanup when the water goes down

We are not trained swift-water rescue personnel, so we’re not going to put anyone in unnecessary danger, but if there is a practical way we can help, let us know.

If you know a family, farmer, church, or organization in the affected area that has a specific need, please reach out to us.

So, you may have noticed our page looks a little different…

Circle C Cowboy Church is now Sycamore Cowboy Church!

The name is new, but the mission hasn’t changed. We’ll continue sharing the Gospel at youth rodeos throughout Central Indiana, gathering here at Sycamore Shores from time to time, and doing our best to help people follow Jesus and serve others.

And we have something else new! We now have a website where you can learn more about Cowboy Church, find upcoming gatherings, ask for prayer, or reach out about having us at your rodeo or event:
SycamoreCowboyChurch.com

We’re excited about what’s ahead, and we hope you’ll be part of it.
