About Us
The Colorado Claims Association was started in the early 1900s as a means for insurance professionals to obtain continuing education in the insurance field as well as industry contacts. The Board is made up of by volunteers in the insurance industry.
A seminar is held in October of each year to promote education as well as providing continuing education for states that it is needed in, like Wyoming.
A scholarship fund named the Joseph M. Gates scholarship last year provides scholarship money for incoming freshman who are sons, daughters, stepsons and stepdaughters of insurance professionals. Transcripts as well as a 500 word essay written by the applicant are required to apply for these scholarship.
In 2016 the Colorado Claims Association started to host a golf tournament.
