The Black Belt Foundation Changing the world through Taekwondo. The Black Belt Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2007.

The goal of The Black Belt Foundation is to use the values of Taekwondo to help other people break out of the restrictive cycles of poverty, poor education, and poor health. Through teaching Taekwondo, it is the mission of The Black Belt Foundation to improve the lives of the extreme poor in Brazil by teaching them community, responsibility, perseverance, and teamwork providing a healthy alternative to avoid the pitfalls that often accompany severe poverty such as illiteracy, drug use, and teen pregnancy.

We are excited for our Kick A Thon fundraiser tonight! The J. W. Kim Taekwondo black belt candidates will be doing tens of thousands of kicks in support of The BBF tonight!

All those kicks can work up an appetite. Anyone can stop by the Jersey Mike's store next to the DTC dojang tonight for dinner and let them know you're there for The Black Belt Foundation/J. W. Kim Taekwondo and they'll donate 20% of the proceeds to The Black Belt Foundation!
