Recovery is stronger when we show up for one another.

We were proud to join the community at this year’s Rally for Recovery at Cheesman Park, celebrating recovery, connection, and the people who remind us that no one has to walk this journey alone.

We also had the opportunity to partner with Storyvine to capture powerful stories and voices for the Tough as a Mother campaign, helping us continue to break down stigma and remind moms and families impacted by substance use that support is out there.

A beautiful day, an incredible community, and a whole lot of reasons to keep showing up.

The People First Behavioral Health Alliance has named Lauren Snyder as its new Executive Director.

Snyder brings extensive experience in behavioral health policy, systems change, and community collaboration across Colorado and will begin her role on September 30.

Today, nine organizations spanning the full spectrum of Colorado's behavioral health system announced the formation of the People First Behavioral Health Alliance — a cross-sector coalition of providers, payers, and client advocates committed to building policy that puts the person seeking behavioral health care ahead of the structures that serve them. We’re also proud to welcome Servicios de La Raza as our new Tougher Together facilitator. Together, we’re creating a welcoming space where moms in recovery can connect, share their experiences, find support, and build meaningful relationships with other moms who understand the journey.

Juneteenth commemorates the day the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

It is a day to honor resilience, reflect on our shared history, and recognize that freedom is not only about rights on paper, but also about having the opportunity to thrive, heal, and be supported in our communities.
