The First Annual Beach Bash was a success!!! Thank you for everyone who came out to support Community Sailing of Colorado - WE RAISED OVER $12,000!!! The music was amazing, the food trucks were scrumptious, and the community pulled through. Despite some unexpected weather (what’s new in Colorado??) we held a delightfully entertaining cardboard boat regatta. How cool was that?! We’re already looking forward to the next Beach Bash! But until then… HAPPY SAILING SEASON!!! ⛵️🥳☀️🌊

Cherry Creek camps started this week, Boulder camps are continuing with great wind to start the week, and adult windsurfing, wing foiling, and sailing classes are in full swing! Will we be seeing you on the water with us?

Both Cherry Creek and Boulder staff trainings are all wrapped up! Our summer camp staff go through four full days of training, going over safety and curriculum. They practice motorboat skills, sailboat rescues, chalk talks, land drills, and on water drills. We even had a CU professor from the Education Department come out and talk to our staff about Universal Design for Learning to help our instructors design lessons for all types of learners! There’s still spaces left to sign up for camps! See you on the water.

The Beach Bash is THIS SATURDAY the 30th! Come join us in celebrating summer and a new sailing season. We have lots of fun activities for everyone: live music from local artists, food trucks, a bar, and a raffle with tons of enticing prizes. Check out that beautiful olive oil from and a gorgeous fleece jacket from , we’re even raffling off an RC Sailboat from our own inventory! You won’t want to miss this exciting event. Purchase your ticket before entering the reservoir for free park entry and help us get to our goal of 100 guests (we just need 15 more ticket sales)!

Our adult classes get to experience the best waterfront sunsets all summer long. Whether it’s Beginner Sailing, Intermediate Dinghy Sailing, Learn to Race, Intro to Windsurfing, or Intro to Wing Foiling, our evening classes happen during golden hour. All programs start next week! It’s not too late to register.
