Heads up, Colorado! The fight for tipped-worker protections is far from over. 🚨

Unfortunately with the passage of HB 25‑1208 earlier this year, municipalities like the City of Boulder and Edgewater could lower the base wage for tipped workers if they choose the higher tip-offset option.

While the law doesn’t force immediate cuts, it opens the door.
We’re watching Boulder and Edgewater closely. Suppose certain Colorado House Democrats attempt to introduce another wage-cut bill in 2026. In that case, we’ll be ready to stand up for tipped workers once again!

We hope no one follows the greedy 💰 motives of the notoriously corrupt Colorado Restaurant Association & Foundation

Don't let corporate interests take over Denver politics. Measure to 2G is confused and nonsensical, it costs too much money, and it would game our elections even more in favor of the wealthy and well-connected.

That's why Denverites are voting NO on this proposal to significantly change how we run elections for At Large Councilmembers.

Congratulations Graduates!!🎓

Last week, CWA leaders from across the country met in Iowa City, Iowa, for the Dennis Serrette Minority Leadership Institute (MLI), a week-long leadership training program hosted by the CWA Human Rights Department. During MLI, participants from CWA Districts and Sectors undergo rigorous training in subjects including leadership development, communications, organizing, and legislative advocacy.
