✨ Senior Sunday Spotlight ✨
This week, we’re excited to highlight Sadie, from Utah! 🌟
👋 Advice for your younger self:
“If I could give my younger self one piece of riding advice, I would tell her to not stress about everything so much and just to have fun. Riding is supposed to be enjoyable.”
💡 One thing you've learned from being part of AHYA:
“From being a part of this organization, I have learned how to be a good competitor and teammate. Horse shows have been such a good environment where I feel as though everyone supports everyone, whether they win or lose, and through that, I have learned to just have fun and support everyone.”
🐴 If you could create a new class or event:
“If I could create a new class, I would create more versatility classes. For our western or hunter horses, we could have a class that first judged the horses at western pleasure and then judged them doing hunter pleasure. The placing would then be added up from both classes to find out the winner. For our saddle seat horses, we could do a similar class but with pleasure, show hack, costume, and driving.”
🏇 Describe your riding journey in three words:
“Unbelievable, amazing, determined.”
