Our story

The program goals of Greenwich Christian Preschool are to instill a joy for learning, plant seeds of faith in each child and provide a life-long foundation of faith and assurance that God loves them and that Jesus wants to be their Savior and Friend. We offer a high quality preschool program in a loving Christian atmosphere with experienced and qualified teachers, a low student/teacher ratio and an environment that is designed to nurture and encourage learning. Our facility includes a large outdoor play space and an indoor gross motor area. Our program incorporates developmentally appropriate theme-based curriculum that integrates performance standards and benchmarks of the CT Early Learning and Development Standards (CT EDLS), along with materials and experiences that encourage children to explore, grow and learn through play. We agree with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) that “play is an important vehicle for developing self regulation as well as for promoting language, cognition and social competence.” Every part of our curriculum is based on Biblical truths and principles resulting in a total program where your child can grow and develop spiritually, cognitively, socially, aesthetically and physically.
